According the municipial administration (phone call from 24.2.2026), the commune has neither a flag nor official colours. The Coat of Arms is presented on the communal website, the same version is being used by Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia.

From the communal website: "By resolution [...] dated 8 September 1972, the Burgenland Provincial Government granted the Municipality of Parndorf the right to bear the coat of arms described below: 'A two-leaved natural thistle on a silver shield.' After the temporary desertification of the settlement during the Turkish Wars, it was, under the Harrach family, repopulated by Croatian farmers in the 16th century. Despite repeated devastation by wars, plague and natural disasters, the village developed into a large settlement whose industrious inhabitants cultivated the heathland, symbolised by the thistle in the coat of arms."
