The Verband Österreichischer Film-Autoren, VOFA (English:
Association of Austrian Film Authors) is the umbrella organization for
independent films in Austria and the association and representation of
interests of Austrian film clubs and their members. The association,
whose activities are not profit-oriented, aims to create intellectual
and cultural values by maintaining and promoting the non-commercial
film industry in Austria. It was established in 1964 with the original
denomination of Verband Österreichischer Filmamateure (Association of Austrian Film Amateurs).
Members are non-commercial independent film authors in film clubs and individual members.
The flag is a white horizontal background with the logo in the middle (picture,
source).
