Presentation of Doboj Jug

Doboj Jug (South Doboj) was formed in 1998 from parts of the previous Municipality of Doboj that remained in the Federation according to the demarcation line set up by the Dayton Peace Accords. The municipality, made of the two villages of Matuzići and Mravić, is situated between rivers Bosna and Usora. The main activity is transport, as several important roads cross the municipality. There is in Doboj Jug a "tank graveyard", now a memorial on the location where the defenders defeated a strong Serb offensive in 1993.

The coat of arms of Doboj Jug is prescribed by Decision Odluka o grbu općine Doboj Jug, adopted on 11 June 1998 by the Municipal Assembly.

The coat of arms is a black shield, bordered white, with a golden fleur-de-lis above a V-shaped road between green mountain slopes forming a valley, above a black bridge over two blue rivers.
