The flag of Guabariba is prescribed by Municipal Law No. 7 promulgated on 10 May 1977.

Article 1.
The flag of the municipality of Guabiruba shall have the following heraldic description: Horizontally divided into three fields, the upper and lower fields blue and the central field white, charged in the center with the coat of arms of the municipality.

Article 2.
The features of the municipal flag shall obey the following rules.
I - The flag shall be 20 units in width.
II - The flag shall be 29 units in length.
III - The flag shall be divided horizontally into three fields, the upper of 5.5 units, the lower of 5.5 units, and the central of 9 units.
IV - The coat of arms shall be placed in the central field, in proportionate dimensions.
