The flag of Guaramirim is prescribed by Municipal Law No. 390 promulgated on
21 September 1972.
Article 2.
The flag shall be white, charged in the
center with the coat of arms of Guaramirim prescribed by Law No. 389
promulgated on 27 September 1972 in full colors.
Article 3.
White
identifies the purity of mind of Guaramirim's people, prosperity and work that
led to greatness. In the center, the coat of arms represents the municipal
government and symbolizes the town, seat of the municipality.
Article 4.
The flag shall have the proportions of the national flag: in width 14 units.
Its length shall be 20 units.
Article 5.
The two sides of the flag
shall be exactly identical.
