The current flag is a Canadian pale of blue-yellow-blue with the shield from the arms centered. The shield is blazoned "Azure three chevronels tipped sapiné braced Or, in chief a steelhead trout naiant Argent".Lake Cowichan (pop. 2,948), is a town located on the east end of Cowichan Lake and, by highway, is 27 km west of Duncan, British Columbia.
