Tierced by a bend wavy Azure then Sable above a bendlet wavy Argent a lion passant bendwise of this Last langued Or then again Argent a bear gorged and rampant Gules.

A combination of the two emblems of the former local communities of Basadingen and Schlattingen. The blue wavy diagonal bar symbolizes the Geisslibach brook.

On 1 January 1999 the two communes formed through merger the new commune of Basadingen-Schlattingen.
