Shield Or an embattled round tower Gules, masoned Sable with three cone roofs Azure, in base surrounded by a curtaim wall of the same and on fess point charged with an inescutcheon lozengy of Argent and Azure in bend.
Meaning:
Already the first local seal prints, proven since 1321, displayed the current pattern with the lozengy inescutcheon, symbolising the rule of the Wittelsbach kin since 1268. Later the shape of the tower changed in details, the existence of the three cone roofs is proven since 1471. The first seals displayed a triplemount in base, which was replaced by the curtain wall in the early 15th century. Since the 16th century the tower was round.
