Shield parted per fess embattled, above Sable a pair of scales Or, beneath Or a pair of connected bear paws Sable armed Gules.
Meaning:
The bear paws are taken from the arms of the Counts of Hoya, the former rulers. The chief shows a pair of scales, symbol of justice, representing the historical courtyards in Siedenburg and Staffhorst.

Shield Sable, a pale Or charged with a kettle hook Sable, in each flank a halberd Argent.
Meaning:
The arms show a kettle-hook, used in historical times over an open fire. The common furnace was a secret place and thus the hook was taken as a symbol. The two halberds are a symbol of the vigilance of the inhabitants.

Meaning:
The windmill is the local windmill "Margarethe" in Huckstedt, which is a typical landmark of the village. The trefoil is a symbol of agriculture, but the symbol was also used in the arms of the medieval Lords of Siedenburg. The base displays the bear paws of the Counts of Hoya, the former rulers.

Meaning:
The church is the local parish church, dedicated to St. John the Baptist, which had been the main parish in the region in historical times. The trefoil is a symbol of agriculture, but the symbol was also used in the arms of the medieval Lords of Siedenburg. The base shows the bear paws of the Counts of Hoya, the former rulers.

Meaning:
The trefoil is a symbol of agriculture, but the symbol was also used in the arms of the medieval Lords of Siedenburg. The bear paws are taken from the arms of the Counts of Hoya, the former rulers. According to Otto Hupp (1925) the former arms just displayed a green trefoil in a golden field, the family arms of the Siedenburg kin.

Meaning:
The tower is the tower of the local church, the main landmark of the village. The colours are those of the Dukes of Braunschweig, as these had much influence in the village and the local church. The trefoils are a symbol of agriculture, and a modification the arms of the medieval Lords of Siedenburg. The single bear paw is a modification of the arms of the Counts of Hoya, the former rulers.
