The shield is divided per fess. Above in a red field are silver (= white) crossed gable shelves ending in horseheads. Below in a silver (= white) field is a black beehive. The base is divided by a blue fess wavy.
Meaning:
The fess wavy is symbolizing Böhme creek. The beehive is symbolizing the local production of honey. The shelves are a typical adornment of local farmhouses. Bad Fallingbostel is the capital of the county.
