It is a green-yellow vertical bicolour (see left image above). In use however is a yellow-green bicolour (see right image above). The coat of arms of both is shifted towards the top.

Shield parted by a fess wavy Argent, above Gules two croziers Or issuant in saltire, beneath Vert three firs issuant Argent.
Meaning:
The croziers are referring to the Bishops of Passau Johann Philipp of Lamberg and Leopold of Firmian. Both bishops induced the colonisation of the area around Philippsreut in the 17th and 18th century. The lower half is symbolising the location amidst woods on the banks of the Wagenwasser, a creek.
