It is a green-yellow-green vertical triband with ratio of stripes 1:2:1. The coat of arms is in the middle of the yellow stripe.

Spornitz Coat of Arms

Shield Vert, two gable shelves Or on top end with horseheads in saltire, surrounded by seven stones Argent in orle.
Meaning:
The shelves are representing the Lower Saxonian farm houses, which are typical for the village. The stones are representing seven big stones of granite, probably marking the boundary of a prehistorical monument.

Stolpe Coat of Arms

Shield Gules, two grain ears Or in saltire, flanked by three 6-sokes wheels Or, two in flanches and one in base.
Meaning:
The wheels are representing the local motorway service area. Their number is symbolising the villages Barkow, Granzin and Stolpe proper. The grain ears are symbolising agriculture.
