Shield Azure, three balls Argent ordered 2:1, chief Argent charged with a fess engrailed Azure.
Meaning:
With permission of Baron Conrad of Freyberg on 3 March 1937 the municipality applied for the adoption of the Freyberg family arms, three silver balls in a blue shield, by the Imperial Governor (Reichsstatthalter) in Württemberg. The family owns estates in the municipality since 1528. This pattern had never been approved. Nevertheless the municipality before the end of WW2 used images of the arms on municipal envelopes, displaying a modified version, the balls were displayed on a black background. These arms also showed an attire Sable on a golden chief. The current arms were fixed in 1957, the fess engrailed was taken from the family arms of the Lords of Steußlingen, who owned the village in the 13th century.
