Shield parted per pale, above Azure a crescent vaning Or with face surrounded by 15 six-point stars Argent, beneath Azure a bunch of grapes Gules connected with two leaves Vert.
Meaning:
Winterhausen is located opposite to Sommerhausen on the other bank of the Main River. The half in base is nearly the same as that one of Sommerhausen. Moon and stars are representing winter opposite to the radiant sun in Sommerhausen representing summer . A local seal from the 17th century already displayed the current pattern with a mount beneath the bunch of grapes. The current pattern was painted by Otto Hupp (1925) and was based on a seal from 1835. The tinctures are those of the Counts of Limpurg-Speckfeld, former local rulers.
