I Sentinelli di Milano (English: Milano's Sentinels), abbreviated simply as "i sentinelli" (English: the sentinels) is a NGO which stands for a secular State born as an informal movement on October 14, 2014 as opposition to the "Sentinelle in Piedi" (English: Standing Sentinels), and since December 2021 formally denominated as "Associazione A.P.S." (English: Social promotion Association).

Flag

The flag is a white horizontal background featuring the logo in the middle, the logo being the organization's first part of the name with a hashtag, #iSentinelli and a multi-colored display of colored human silhouettes in the same colors as the rainbow flag when used to represent sexual orientation. It also featured below the slogan "laici e antifascisti" (English: secular and antifascists) in red.

These are also the colors used in most variants of Italian peace flag which may have served as the inspiration as well - perhaps even the main one, considering that the colors are not arranged exactly as in a rainbow (indigo and violet have swapped places), which is also the case with many of these variants.
