Utsunomiya city in Tochigi adopted its flag on April 1st 1972.

Stylized kanji Miya (宮) of Utsunomiya in hexagonal pattern which represents development and glory.

Kamikawachi Town / 上河内町

The flag of the former town of Kamikawachi was green with mark. The town is now, from 2007 part of the city of Utsunomiya.
