The city emblem was adopted on Jul 17th 1963 by Notice No 4 but there is no 
flag law. The green flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem 
is a stylized katakana セキ Seki. The round shape symbolizes the city’s image 
which develops outward.

The flag of the former village of Horado was yellow with mark. The village is 
now, from 2005, part of the city of Seki.
