The city emblem was adopted on Sep 12th 1930 but there is no flag law. The maroon flag has a white city emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized kanji 土 tsuchi = soil. Seto City is famous for the Chinaware production. The city emblem makes a form of a vase.
