The town emblem and the flag were adopted on Nov 1st 2004 by Notice No 1 and No 2. The white flag has a green and an orange two color town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized M of Misato. The orange circle in a silhouette of a flower represents a life and a growth.
The flag proportion is 2: 3. The height of the emblem is 2/3 height of the flag.
