The Rayon

Anenii Noi is a rayon in Moldova, with about 80000 inhabitants. Its administrative center is the Town of Anenii Noi. The coat of arms and flag of the rayon were adopted on 24.02.2005.

About the flag

The flag of the district is a rectangular red cloth (2: 3) with a wavy yellow tip, from which a white lion arises with a white saber in the right paw.

Coat of arms

The shield is wavy crossed; in the upper part in the scarlet field, a silver lion arising from the division line with a silver saber in the right paw; at the bottom in a golden field is a torn green tomato bush with scarlet tomatoes. The shield is crowned with a district crown.
