The municipality of Resen (16,825 inhabitants; 550.77 sq. km) is made of the town of Resen proper and the 44 settlements of Arvati, Asamati, Bolno, Brajčino, Carev Dvor, Dolna Bela Crkva, Dolono Dupeni, Dolno Perovo, Dolno štrbovo, Drmeni, Evla, Ezerani, Gorna Bela Crkva, Gorno Dupeni, Gorno Krušje, Gorno Štrbovo, Grnčari, Ilino, Izbišta, Jankovec, Konjsko, Kozjak, Krani, Kriveni, Kurbinovo, Lavci, Leva Reka, Ljubojno, Nakolec, Oteševo, Petrino, Podmočani, Pokrvenik, Preljubje, Pretor, Rajca, Silvnica, Sopotsko, Stenje, Stipona, Volkoderi, Zlatari, Šurlenci and Živojno.
The arms and flag of Resen are prescribed by the Municipal Statutes (the flag, unfortunately, is not described), adopted on 18 July 2002.
Article 6.
The coat of arms portrays Lake Prespa surmounted by a scroll with the writing "PRESPA". In the background are shown mountains with the rising sun, in the foreground, the lake with Grad island and a sailboat, an apple in base. Article 7.
The municipality shall have a flag.
The flag is white with the municipal emblem in the center. On the vertical table flag shown behind the Mayor on a photo, the emblem is skewed to the bottom of the flag.
