Description of the flag

The flag of the Sherpa state, one of the 14 entities of the federal republic of Nepal. The state was proclaimed 14-12-2009 and later endorsed by the Parliament, but seems that the flags were already in use before December 2009. I was in what is now Sherpa state in July 2008 and I didn’t see this flag, so I assume that was adopted between summer 2008 and winter 2009, but this is not sure.
