Shield Vert a sheep passant Or and an estoile Argent arrayed palewise and flanked by two rushes Or, issuant from flanches and base wavy Argent, charged with a bar wavy Azure, a five-arch bridge Argent masoned Sable. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE JUNCAIS, VILA RUIVA E VILA SOEIRO DO CHÃO".
Meaning:
The bridge and the canting bulrushes from Juncais (a flag not fully officialised), the sheep from Vila Soeiro do Chão, and the star from Vila Ruiva.

Shield Vert with base wavy of Argent and Azure, a scallop Or flanked by two bunches of bulrush Argent, issuant from base a throughout bridge Argent, masoned Sable and having five arches. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "JUNCAIS".
Meaning:
The bunches of bulrush (Port.: junca) are canting elements. The scallop is an attribute of St. James the Elder, the local patron saint.

Shield Vert, a bezant, flanked by two triplets of rye ears Or tied Argent, in chief a 5-point star Argent, issuant from base a triplemount Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "VILA RUIVA - FORNOS DE ALGODRES".
Meaning:
Triplemount and star are alluding to the Serra da Estrela, a mountain ridge. The star is furthermore an attribute of Our Lady of Grace, the local patron saint.
