Shield Or, a Moorish tower Vert with port and windows Or, in chief flanked by two cardinal's hats Sable.  Mural crown Argent with four(!) visible towers (town rank), though gyronny pattern usually indicates (city rank)) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "MOREIRA DE CÓNEGOS". Please note that both arms, old and new, display four visible towers in the mural crown.
