It is a slightly untypical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms, having three visible towers on crest, centred on a field quartered of red and white.

Ciborro is one of the seven communes of the Montemor-o-Novo municipality (q.v.); it had 714 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 56.3 km².
