Shield Or, two muskets Sable, ornamented Argent and set in saltire, surrounded by two embowed wreaths, one of wheat ears Vert at dexter, the other of rosemary Vert blossomed Purpure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "SAFARA".

Safara Commune was one of the pre-2013 communes of Moura Municipality; it had 1078 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 57,6 km².

Shield Sable (but acc. to blazon Vert), an obelisk Argent, in chief two canons addorsed Or with their gun carriages. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "SANTO ALEIXO DA RESTAURAÇÃO".

Please note that unfortunately there are three different versions of the arms, and the description within source doesn't match the image there.
Both other versions display the canons bendy and sinister bendy, both display an additional rice ear Or fruited Argent, and a wheat ear Or. The background of one version is black, of the other version green. Look here! (additional wreaths and canons bendy)
