The commune´s homepage was the only one among the Silves communes displaying only a logo.
Logo:
White with red embattled castle, i.e. one wall and one tower and an uncomplete red circle rising from the tower.
The castle is superimposed by a stylised inscription "Silves" in counterchenged colours, and beneath a smaller red, stylized inscription "Junta de Freguesia"

Shield are Or a castle Gules masoned Sable with port and windows Argent, in chief a scimitar Gules and a sword Azure both hilted Sable in saltire, on base wavy Azure a bar wavy Argent.
Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "FREGUESIA DE SILVES".

Silves Commune is one of the six communes of Silves Municipality, It had 10 661 inhabitants in 2021 covering 177,45 km².
