Shield Azure with base wavy of Argent and Azure, parted by a bend chequered of three orders of Argent and Gules between two bunches of grapes Or. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "SALZEDAS".
Meaning:
The chequered bend, also called a Cistercian bend, is alluding to thre local Cistercian Abbey. The grape bunches are symbolising viticulture.

Presentation of Salzedas

Salzedas was one of the four communes of Tarouca Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 651 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 8,92 km².
