The 1st flag (see left image above) is a light blue flag, approx. ratio 3:4, with two narrow horizontal stripes near the top and bottom edges (leaving a gap slightly wider than
the stripes´ own thickness) and on the central area the letters "C", "T", and "M", set as serifless demibold somewhat squarish capitals,
each inside a yellow ring (its thickness slightly thinner than the letter stroke and less than half the thickness of the stripes), each ring overlapping the next tangentially,
from hoist to fly.
The new flags kept from the previous version the blue background and the double yellow stripe: Ratio is still approx. 3:4,
dark blue background with two yellow stripes along the bottom, the gap between them about half the thickness of each and the distance to the bottom edge of the flag more than its double.
At the upper fly (see central image above) or upper hoist (see right image above) the very bold squarish serifless yellow capitals reading "CTM". This detailed scan of the obverse shows some ink seepage bleeding from the reverse,
evidencing that although the company acronym is at the upper fly on both sides, it reads correctly in both.
On a closer look at these flag images, by the way, at least these ones from Portugal, it seems that Josef Nüsse´s collection includes not only actual flags flown afloat,
made of cloth and in a fairly large size, but also souvenir, tabletop/handwaving flaglets, made from thick, stiff (but lightweight) canvas or a similar plastic material,
print dyed, and much smaller in size. That explains how some of these are less detailed than expected, how the stitchwork is often coarse and larger than would be on an actual outdoors/seaworthy flag,
and some flags present an unusually squarish ratio.
