Verkhnetoemskiy County became Verkhnetoemskiy Municipal District in 2021. Its
coat of arms was adopted on 23.03.2007, and its flag on 07.09.2018.
A
rectangular cloth with a width to length ratio of 2:3, consisting of two
horizontal stripes: the upper green stripe, 3/4 of the width of the cloth, and
the lower blue stripe; in the center of the cloth is an inverted isosceles
triangle of white color, the base of which is at the upper edge of the cloth and
is 1/2 the length of the cloth, and the apex is at the middle of the lower edge
of the cloth; in the center of the triangle is the Holy Great Martyr George the
Victorious in the form of a foot warrior, standing straight, in red robes with
green and yellow trim, yellow boots, with a black spear in his right hand, with
a round yellow shield coming out from behind his back to the shaft, a red quiver
on his right side and with his left hand placed on the hilt of an attached red
sword. Below the figure is a scarlet flower with a green stem.

In a green field with an azure tip, above all, an inverted silver point,
burdened with the Holy Great Martyr and Victorious George in the form of a young
foot warrior upright in green clothing, purple, trimmed with gold, armor,
scarlet cloak and trousers and gold boots, on whose belt on the right is a
purple, trimmed with gold, quiver and, above it, a golden round shield coming
out from behind the back, having in his right hand a golden spear placed in a
column with the point upwards, and his left hand resting on the hilt of a golden
sword in a scabbard hanging on his belt, accompanied below by a scarlet flower
with a green stem.
