Description of the flag

The flag is a vertical tribar of Purple-White-Gold, which pertains to the official colors used by Dumas High School, which are purple and old gold. In the center is the Dumas city seal, which is wreathed by olive branches. The seal is made of a twos rings, a black one with the city name, and a red one which clockwise says "Agriculture, Industry, Recreation." The central disc shows the three elements representative of the motto, A cotton boll for agriculture, a brick factory for industry, and a river for recreation.
