The current flag appears to have both the full city logo (including the motto) in the canton and the left two thirds of the stylized M on the rest of the flag. The city logo has been used since at least 2011, but the date of the flag is unknown.
Photos can be found of the flag flying outside the Mason Community Center:

I received a drawing of the flag from
city employee Jennifer Heft. Description of the logo by Ms. Heft:
"The logo
is made up of both typographic elements and dynamic ribbon graphics. It
represents the connection between our businesses and our homes. The ribbon shows
that Mason is a dynamic community that is moving forward. The mixture of the
blues and greens of the logo are visually engaging while at the same time
representative of the earth and the sky."

An unofficial flag of the City of Mason, Ohio, consists of "imagineMason" icon on a white field. Here is the explanation about the situation around the flag of the City of Mason, Ohio:
"The City of Mason does not have an official flag. However, in the late 1990s, an "imagineMason" promotional
campaign for the city was developed. The "imagineMason" theme was envisioned as a community logo that other community groups in Mason could use. The theme was carried through to the city's web site several years later (www.imaginemason.org) and the "imagineMason" phrase or variations have been used to promote several community activities. Around 2002, several major landscaping improvements in the city called for the use of a city flag. The "imagineMason" icon was chosen for the flag and it has been in continuous use since then."
Image of the icon and information thanks to Jennifer Trepal, Public Information Officer, City of MasonGiven the format of the logo, I suppose the flag is 1:2. The logo is lettering consisting of the words "Imagine Mason", the former set in golden yellow informal cursive lower case letters, the dot of the first replaced by a
sketched irregular dark red five-pointed star, and the latter set in dark blue lowercase letters from of a non-slanted Eras face, the "m" larger and the "a" and "s" joint together.
