The flag of was created by the students of the North Marion High School -
members of the North Marion National Art Honor Society - Peyton Knight, Gabi
Luna, Bella Mon, Lindsey Patton, Desiree Synnott, and Oscar Zurita, under the
guidance of their teacher Sara Bailey, and promoted and proposed before the city
council with the help of the police officer Glenn Bentley. The flag was adopted
on August 14, 2018.
