Description of the flag

The flag of Ceredo is made up of a single white stripe with a 1:1 diagonally divided pattern from bottom left to top right in blue and light grey. In the middle of the white bar is the town seal. Although it does have differences from the real seal. The text is much more thin, and the line "TOWN OF CEREDO, W. VA." is replaced with "CITY OF CEREDO, W. VA." which is very strange as Ceredo is recognized as a town, not a city. The outline of WV is deformed to look like it's "leaning" forwards. The color of the 4-pointed star is changed from black to gold. The dates "1857" and "1866" are added above and below the state outline.

According to user Stephen Amis, the flag was adopted and designed by former mayor Mose A. Napier, who sat from 1969 to 2009.

The seal is a golden ring with black outlines. At the top of the seal is "THE GREAT SEAL", and "TOWN OF CEREDO, W. VA." on the bottom. These two lines of text are separated by two black stars on both sides. In the middle is a blue outline of the state with a black 4-pointed star with the lengths of each point being different and unequal.
