The Band
Tahltan Band has about 2000 members, of which about 300 live on reserve land.
Its flag is British red ensign with the name of Nannock Chief who in 1910 signed
the Declaration of the Tahtlan Tribe. The document claims sovereignty over
Tahltan land and declares any land interests concerning the traditional
territory of the Tahltan Nation to be settled directly with the Tahltan people.
