Bright green, the colour of the flag's background, represents the greenness of the fertile fields, which are abundant in our region. The wheat ears, below the emblem, represent the valuable crops of the region; the bovine's head, at the emblem's right, represents cattle- breeding, the main source of income for the inhabitants; the horse's head, at the emblem's left, reflects the tradition of the gauchos. In the middle of the flag, the proper shield of the municipality is placed on a white halo to increase its luminosity and splendour. It represents Del Campillo located in the Córdoba Province, therefore the shape of the shield is the same as for the provincial coat of arms. The background of the shield, with the national colours, identifies Del Campillo as part of Argentina. The shield is crossed by two spears, recalling the Pampas, the first inhabitants of the region, men and women who rambled through the desert at their own will, like all men living in compliance with their best dreams. Over the spears, in the middle, a disk argent; the disk, as the Italian model of shield shape, evokes immigration that transformed the desert into a working force. Argent is a symbol of humility, frankness, purity and integrity, the virtues that were, are, and will be the ideal of the inhabitants. The natives and the immigrants are synthesized in the name of the settlement, Del Campillo. On the field argent, a sun or, considered as a celeste emblem representing aspiration to future, justice, dignity, sovereignty, and purity, emerges from a cropped field, symbolizing agriculture and cattle-breeding. On its side stands a tree representing loyalty and felicity, flanked by a mill, an element characteristic of the landscape representing the domination of nature by man. The landscape is dominated by a tractor, symbol of work and technology.

Jovita

[municipal flag] image located by Valentin Poposki, 13 April 2026

Municipality of Jovita is located in the Department of General Roca, Cordoba. Its flag was adopted in August or September 2022.

"The community of Jovita experienced a historic day as they chose the official flag that will represent and identify the town. The event took place in the Hall of the Honorable Deliberative Council.

After an afternoon filled with history, anecdotes, and the presentation of the 15 proposals submitted to the competition, the design that will represent the residents of Jovita was chosen. The winning design was created by Giael Montemerlo .

The Municipality of Jovita highlighted the high level of participation and the quality of the proposals and designs submitted, which were primarily contributed by young people and teenagers who actively participated in this initiative to create a symbol that will forever represent the town.

In explaining the design's rationale, its creator, Giael, stated that he initially started with a flag of horizontal stripes: WHITE (representing peace and purity), RED (representing the courage and strength of the people, and also a color present in the national coat of arms and the provincial flag), and GREEN (representing the countryside, nature, hope, and the growth of the people). Furthermore, these three colors are those of the Italian flag, as the town is largely made up of descendants of Italians.

He also used the following as representative figures: an arched bridge and an ear of wheat.
The bridge represents the union of two parts and is black for contrast and because it also represents firmness and stability, further strengthening the symbolism of unity. Furthermore, the ear of wheat, representing work, the countryside, and the town's economy (which is primarily based on agriculture and livestock), is depicted in yellow: the color of the May sun (a shared characteristic with the national flag), as well as representing light, honor, and power. The ear of wheat forms part of the bridge's central pillar, giving it the significance of being a vital element in the town's unity, prosperity, and stability."
