Description: Azure a horse trippant (= rearing) argent; that's the historical coat of arms of Moravská Ostrava (until 1940s City of Moravská Ostrava) - the saddle is golden, also the rose (buttoned red and with green leaves between the petals. The cloth under the saddle is red. The horse has no bridle, etc; only saddle. - The base (on the coat of arms) is green. - The flag is a banner of arms without base of field.
