Shield Gules, an enhanced chevron Argent, in base a Luther-rose, a heraldic rose Argent seeded by a heart Gules charged with a Latin cross Sable.
Meaning:
The chevron is taken from the family arms of the local Lords of Wain. The Luther-rose reminds on the 17th century, when Lutheran refugees from Kärnten and Steiermark found a new home in Wain. The colours red and white are referring to Austria, from where the refugees arrived.
