Shield gyronny of eight Sable-Gules-Argent-Argent-Sable-Argent-Gules-Argent, the gyrons Gules charged with royal crowns Or.
Meaning:
The first known seal from 1550 displayed in a quartered shield the canting crown in quarter 1 and 4 and the (quartered) Zollern shield in quarter 2 and 3. Seals from 1581 and 1692 displayed the same pattern, a relief from 1573 displays a mirrored version. That relief also displays a shield with the current pattern. The pattern was confirmed in 1819.

The arms are in use since the since the 16th century. The banner was approved in 1959.
