Shield quartered, 1st and 4th quarter Sable a crowned lion rampant Or, 2nd and 3rd quarter Argent a crane passant Or.
Meaning:
Ebersdorf was first mentioned in 1401. The Princes of Reuß built a castle between 1692 and 1694, where they resided. The municipal arms are basically the arms of the Princes of Reuß-Gera with minor changes. The colour of tongue, claws and crown of the lion was changed from red to yellow. The background behind the cranes was realised as grey. The shield has an additional white orle.
