Shield parted per fess wavy; above Argent two maces Gules in saltire, flanked by three heraldic roses Gules, seeded Or and barbed Vert, ordered 1:2; beneath Azure a fleur-de-lis Argent.
Meaning:
The maces are taken from the arms of the Lebenhan-Rothenkolben kin, Rothenkolben meaning "red maces". The members of the kin had been chief foresters and commissionaires of the Bishopric of Würzburg. Furthermore they took care of the royal salt forest (German: Salzforst). The tinctures red and white are those of the bishopric, to which the area belonged until 1803. The fleur-de-lis is taken from the arms of the Lords of Ebersberg, called Weyhers. The kin was first mentioned in 1288 and died out in 1847. In 1373 one half of the village was acquired by the kin. The wavy line of partition is alluding to a local lake.
