Shield parted per pale, at dexter Sable a sinister facing hound rampant Argent, at sinister Argent an eradicated ash Vert with a coronet Or surrounding the trunk.
Meaning:
The hound (German: ((Wind)hund)is the canting heraldic animal of the Premonstratensian Windberg Monastery and is stressing the close relationships between village and abbey since 1165. Ash and coronet are taken from the arms of the Barons of Asch, who owned the districts (Bavarian: Hofmarken) of Haggn and Pürgl from 1737 and 1848.
