Baroque shield Gules, issuant from a hexagonal recess Argent, a saint of the same, nimbed Or, holding a palm frond Or in his right hand and three stones Or in his left hand, in base an inescutcheon Gules charged with a grapevine Argent.
Meaning:
andersacker gained market town rights in 1451. The arms are based on prints of the first town seals, proven since 1494. The grapevine is symbolising viticulture. The saint is St. Stephen, patron of the local parish church, accompanied by the stones as his attribute and a palm frond as general symbol of martyrdom.

The coat of arms was approved in in 1954 by Minister of Interior of Bayern. The municipality applied for the arms already in 1936, but then they had been refused by the local NS-administration because saints had not been popular then.
