The company was based in Bagenkop. Bagenkop is located in the south of the island of Langeland. This islsnd is located between the islands of Fyn (Fionia) and Lolland, and is separated from Kiel, the capital city of Schleswig-Holstein, by the Kiel Bay (Kieler Bucht).The flag (see left image above) was a white flag with "L~K" in black, underlined in green.

The image above right appears to be the later flag, also shown by Brown 1995, However Josef Nüsse also shows a second flag of white with the black letters "L" and "K" on either side of a short black line, which fits a 1975 description of the funnel marking. The company, formed in 1965, sold its last vessel in 1998.

It was a blue flag, with red inscription "KiL".

It was a white flag with blue initial "L" flanked by two blue 5-point stars, all between two horizontal blue wavy lines.
