Introduction

Deadpool is an anti-hero in Marvel Comics, a disfigured and somewhat deranged mercenary, and the star of an eponymous comic.

The issues collected in 2010's "Deadpool: X Marks the Spot" have the character come into a small fortune, which he invests into a small surplus Russian warship which he intends to use for piracy, For the duration of his brief pirate career, Deadpool uses a unique Jolly Roger.

Captain Wackbeard

Deadpool's competition on the high seas is the somewhat more conventional Captain Wackbeard (so named because he can't grow a proper pirate beard); he uses an unconventional black flag with a goldent trident. (The crossing line in the picture is only a "billowing" line; the flag is shown elsewhere without it.)
