Presentation of Veroia

The municipality of Veroia (66,547 inhabitants in 2011; 79,140 ha) was formed in the 2011 local government reform by the merger of the former municipalities of Apostolos Pavlos (Απόστολος Παύλος, 8,579 inh.), Dovras (Δοβράς, 5,154 inh.), Makedonida (Μακεδονίδα, 2,346 inh.), Vergina (Βεργίνα, 2,478 inh.), and Veroia (48,306 inh.).
