It appears the governorate has no logo of its own; in its place the Governorate uses the Kurdish Regional Government logo. Alternatively the provincial council logo is used to represent it.

The logo has a green outer ring; the outermost rings are in gold and red, considering the colors of red, white, green, and gold as the Kurdish national colors. Each phrase in the outer ring area is Erbil Provincial Council in a different language: going clockwise from the top, in Kurdish; Syriac; English; the motto "Justice, Coexistence, Prosperity"; Arabic; and Turkish. The inner circle depicts the Erbil Citadel which it is shown over sand, with two golden branches to its sides standing for the same motto.br> Daniel Rentería, 13 October 2025
