Located in Togane City Chiba Prefecture and established in 1992. The university flag has red background with a yellow university badge and yellow kanji university name written horizontally. The university badge consists of three circular needles with eight zelkova leaves between them, with the letter "JIU" in the center, surrounded by a small circle and then a large circle. The needle indicates the direction to avoid misdirection of life's path and calls the attention of the ambitious young man. The zelkova leaf represents the wisdom, love, and courage necessary for life. The circle in the center surrounding the character "JIU" confirms the ground of the badge, which stands on rationality and fulfills harmony in a perfect manner. The circle surrounding the zelkova leaf further emphasizes the necessity of making a decision based on greater rationality and devoting oneself to truth and truthfulness.
