Located in Niigata City Niigata Prefecture and established in 2001. The embroidered ceremonial flag has dark red background with a gold-colored symbol mark and gold-colored kanji and English university name written horizontally in gold fringe. The university flag has red background with a white symbol mark and white kanji and English university name written horizontally. The symbol mark was born from the essence of medical welfare. It expresses the attitude of the quality of life(QOL) supporters who reach out from a number of specialized fields to support the world of medical welfare and QOL of each individual by touching and feeling it with their hands. The warm heart of Niigata University of Health and Welfare breathes in the passionate red color.
