Located in Tsuru City Yamanashi Prefecture and established in 1960. The embroidered ceremonial flag has blue-green background with a gold-colored emblem and horizontally written gold kanji university name with gold fringe. The university flag has blue-green background with a white emblem and the university name in white Chinese characters written horizontally. (Source) The former university emblem was designed with the initials "T" of Tsuru and "U" of University in a pattern with Mt.Fuji which expressed dynamism for the future. Celebrating its 60th anniversary, in 2015, the school inherited this concept and design, while adjusting the slit width and other elements to improve visibility and refining the horizontal tone. The new university emblem is a flat design that responds to today's complex media. (Source)
